P90X3: 60 Day Results!

 
Can you believe It? Neither could I. I have lost 15 lbs. in 60 days and I have lost 15 1/2 inches. I love this fitness program! People keep asking me what I'm doing and I have to keep telling them that once a day for 30 minutes I workout with P90X3, I eat clean, and I drink shakeology. That's it! I feel myself pushing through more of the workouts being able to do more and more every time. I have more energy than I did before I started and overall I feel amazing.
 
This last 30 days, I did change some of my eating habits. The first 30 days, I had been eating turkey bacon and eggs for breakfast. The last 30 days, I have removed turkey bacon from my diet and added in boiled eggs and a piece of whole wheat toast with peanut butter!
My goal is to get in a two piece bikini and by golly I'm getting closer. I'm going to get in it!

P90X3: Staying Motivated


Just got done with my workout! CVS from P90X3 is a killer. Only 30 minutes it allows me to get it over with and on with the rest of my day! I was in sweat bliss. I'm almost done with my second month and I am feeling awesome!
Do I have bad days where I want to have things I shouldn't? There are days that I wake up and I want to skip a workout. Yes I do, but the longer I do this, the stronger I get. The more I workout on a daily basis, the easier it gets to just hit play. I feel my legs and arms getting stronger with each workout that I do. It is hard to look in the mirror still but I know as long as I keep working out and eating clean that I WILL get the body I want.

My "Rock Bottom" Moment


I’m a mother that has given my all to making both my kids and husband happy. It’s what women do. We feel guilty for taking time for ourselves afraid that it makes us look selfish or that we may miss something important. 

It was before Christmas and I finally couldn’t get my button snapped on my stretch jeans. I had to put on a pair of sweatpants to go to the store and buy a bigger size. My daughter was with me and for 30 minutes I would hold up a pair of jeans and say these look like they will fit and then I would go into the fitting room and find that they wouldn’t even go over my thighs. Each time I did this I broke a little more inside. Watching my daughter watch me each time. The last time I went out to get a pair of jeans and held them up, I looked at the jeans and thought to myself there is no way that these will fit me, they’ll be way too big! I went back into the fitting room and again put them on. I begin to sob. My daughter came over to comfort me, “asking me why I was sad, was it because I was too fat for my jeans”. I couldn’t answer her.  This is the moment that changed my life.

I had let myself go. Not caring what I fueled my body with. Exercising every now and then, but not making it a priority. I want to be a better example for both of my kids. I wasn’t happy with myself.  I didn’t feel confident. I barely had the energy to get up and fix my kids supper each night. I had to make some changes.

I’ve started doing P90X3 and drinking my Shakeology in a challenge group and my life has changed. I’m a work in progress, slow progress, but I can feel my body changing and getting stronger every day.  I want this for all of you. I am starting a challenge group on February 24, 2014. P90X3 Journey: 30 Day results!

January 1, 2014 marked a change in my life going forward. Not a resolution, but a lifestyle change to better health. I made a commitment to myself, I just didn't know how I was going to do it. I had lost the weight before, but I always gained it back. This time, I am serious about my goal and I am going to stick with it.

I had seen an old friend with amazing results on Facebook and so I asked her how she was doing it. She told me she had been doing a program with Beachbody. Now I had done P90X and Insanity(both Beachbody Programs), but after 30 days, I just couldn't stay committed. She said that she was doing a Challenge group for  a new program that was coming out that was just like P90X, but it would only be 30 minutes a day.

 I was tired of looking in the mirror and being disgusted by what I saw. I was tired of having to go shopping for bigger clothes. I was tired of not having any energy to do anything. I wanted to feel confident again, I wanted to be a good exmple for my two kids. So I used that fuel to get me going.

To date, I have been doing P90X3 for 5 weeks (the longest I have stuck with a program). Below are my 30 day results. In the first 30 days, I have lost 10 lbs. and 10 1/2 inches. I have done this by eatling clean, drinking my Shakeology and doing my daily P90X3 workouts.

I am finally starting to see my body get toned. I have more energy. I have control of my food intake. Believe I am not perfect. There are some weeks when I have more than one cheat meal, but I wake up and start a new day. I am loving life! I am really looking forward to what my 60 day results will bring!
